Blessed

You got to share a special day today! McKynlee was getting baptized and we decided to combine your special days so the family could all come on that one day.
It was a Saturday evening. You were blessed after her baptism and confirmation by your dad. In the circle were your Grandpa Nielsen, Uncle Todd Nielsen, Uncle Taylor Salisbury, Uncle Jason Ashby, and Uncle Ken Scott.
With your siblings, I was totally on top of things and took notes during the blessing so I could remember what was said. I failed with yours and was so sad! It was a crazy time, with a small baby and getting ready for McKynlee's baptism too. I totally forgot to have something to write on. Then the day was hectic and crazy and as soon as the blessing began, I realized that. I did my best to remember what was said, but know I don't remember it all. You were blessed to be a kind and loving presence in our family. To follow the example of your siblings and be an example. And to someday serve a mission and marry in the temple if you choose.
Oh Colby, I'm so sad I can't remember it all! It was a wonderful blessing. I love you so much and can't imagine our family without you. I loved showing you off to everyone who hadn't met you yet. You met the Ashbys and sat with them for McKynlee's baptism portion. And you met Aunt Melisa and cousin Savannah too. And the Nielsen family, Todd and Haylee's boys. Also there were the Salisburys, Garcias, Scotts, and both your grandparents. Plus our sweet neighbor, Phyllis Ball, and some other ward members.
We went out to dinner after with the Nielsen family to China Platter. You were smothered in kisses by your cousin Grace the whole time. She couldn't keep her face out of your car seat! You nursed and slept most of the time, so not everyone got a chance to hold you who wanted to, but at least they all got to see you!
